의문부사

1.방법을 모를 때 - how(어떻게)로 묻는다.

how does he go to the library? - he goes to the library by bus.

2.장소를 모를 때 - where(어디에)로 묻는다.

where does he go by bus? - he goes to the library by bus.

3. 때를 모를 때 - when(언제)로 묻는다.

when does he go to the library? - he goes to the library in the morning.

4. 원인/이유를 모를 때 - why(왜)로 묻는다.

why does he go to the library? - becauese he wants to study in a quiet place.

How + 형용사/부사 ?   

"얼마나 ~하니?" 라는 뜻으로 횟수, 거리, 기간, 거리, 나이, 금액 등의 정도를 물을 때 쓰임.

how often does he come here? - twice a month.

how long does it take to come here? - it takes about fifteen minutes.

how old is she? - she is 16 years old.

how many sisters do you have? - i have two sisters.
